Implementing Cost Reduction & Value Engineering in Your Engineering & Design Unit

This program provides a step-by-step understanding of How to Reduce Costs in your Engineering & Design Unit. Program provides a value engineering methodology to analyse the cost of performing the current processes, cost of assuring quality, cost of correcting errors and costs due to unnecessary duplication of work in your unit.

The program then suggests multi-discipline value engineering methodology for making improvement in the Engineering & Design work processes by applying Good Management Practices, Information Technology, Value Engineering, Benchmarked Best Benchmarked Practices from world leaders in the same process. What will come out is an Action Plan and Program recommendations on how you will apply these methods and techniques to your Engineering & Design department and reduce anything from 10% to 40% of your costs. Some of these savings can be obtained in Engineering & Design Unit in the short term, others in the medium term and still others in the Strategic Timeframe. Your Individualized Action Plan will include a Strategic Cost Reduction and Value Creation Plan.

This program is intended for all Supervisors, Team Leaders, Section Heads, Managers and Middle Level Executives in Engineering & Design unit. The Senior Staff will attend the shorter 1 week program (initial five days). The Supervisors, Team Leaders, Section Heads and Department Managers will attend the longer duration (6 days, 2 weeks, 4 weeks) depending on their planned or desired involvement in the process of setting up the Cost Reduction and Value Creation System in their Engineering & Design Unit.

It will be a good Strategy to send a team of staff to attend this program, so the team will have a common understanding of what needs to be done to implement the Cost Reduction and Value Creation Opportunities. Certificate of attendance is awarded to all Participants attending 80% of the classes and on payment of program fees. After attending this program you can sit for a Certification Test - on successful passing and on instructor personal assessment you will be Certified as a Relevant Industry Professional. The decision of Euro Training Limited will be final in determining if you have the required competency to be Certified as such a Professional. Should you fail to get Certified the instructor may recommend further training before a redetermination may be made regarding your Certification. 6. Refund will not be considered where the participants cancels his registration less than 3 weeks before start of the program. Alternate nominations will be allowed anytime before program start. In case of exceptional hardship or emergency participant may be allowed to attend at another location.
